What is a Field Safe?

ANSWER: A GSA Approved Field safe is a specially designed and constructed security container for use by Military Units in the field. Built to be portable, yet highly secure, these safes have a steel shield that protects their 3 position, Group 1R combination lock. They also feature carrying handles in both the front and rear.

What are arms key lockers?

ANSWER: Key lockers are special drawers that when used in conjunction with a GSA Approved class 6 Field Safe or Special size 1 drawer cabinet provide secure comparmentalization of Arms Room Keys. Several configurations are available from manufacturers.

• A Key Locker has a 3-position combination lock.
• One to six Key Lockers can be stored in a Field Safe or 1 Drawer Special Size File

Field safes are available in both single lock and dual lock (multi locking) models.
